Senior Director of Postsecondary Initiatives
Dr. Tiffini Andorful joined the Raise DC team in March 2018 as the Senior Director of Postsecondary Initiatives. She is responsible for leading the work related to Raise DC’s high-level goal of postsecondary completion. From August 2019 through March 2020, she also served as the organization’s Interim Executive Director.
Andorful most recently comes from EVERFI, an education technology company, where she served in various roles providing training and support to both educators and partners and building cross-sector education partnerships throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. She has also has more than 10 years of experience in research, community organizing, and secondary/postsecondary teaching, including 9th grade social studies in DCPS. Her most recent research focused on factors impacting academic outcomes for urban female students of color. Andorful began her career in education as a Teach for America corps member in Washington, DC.
Andorful has a Ph.D. in Cultural and Education Policy Studies from Loyola University Chicago, as well as an M.A. in Secondary Education from American University, and a B.A. in Sociology from Spelman College.
