Donna Woodall

Citizenship & Public Affairs Director

Donna L. Woodall is the Citizenship & Public Affairs Director for the Northeast Region at Microsoft. Her responsibilities include developing citizenship strategy and driving local corporate social responsibility programs for major markets from Maine to the mid-Atlantic states. Woodall is the liaison between the community and Microsoft’s technology business, driving program initiatives in local municipalities and states, STEM education programs for youth, and setting strategies to award Microsoft software grants, including Elevate America, Elevate America for Veterans, regional diversity and inclusion programs, as well as leading local employee volunteer programs and events.

Woodall joined Microsoft in 2002 as a managing consultant in the Microsoft Services organization. Prior to Microsoft, Woodall worked in the White House Office of Public Liaison, and at investment banking firms on Wall Street.

Woodall is also part of a group of Computer Science and Engineering majors at Microsoft who teach AP computer science classes in DC through an initiative called TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools).

A graduate of Brown University, Woodall has an undergraduate degree in computer science and engineering and went on to receive an M.B.A. in international business from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
