Amy Dudas joined the Raise DC staff in April 2019 as the Senior Director of High School Success. In this role, Amy leads the Graduation Pathways Project and manages the 9th Grade Counts Network. She will also support the work of the Disconnected Youth Change Network.

Most recently, Amy worked as the Director of Re-engagement and Workforce Initiatives at DC Alliance of Youth Advocates (DCAYA), where she specialized in strategic advocacy to advance policies that provide high-quality developmental opportunities for District youth. As an active partner with Raise DC during her time at DCAYA, Amy managed collaborative efforts to fund the DC Youth ReEngagement Center, create the State Diploma, and expand transportation subsidies for adult learners. She is a longtime member of the  Disconnected Youth Change Network and formerly co-led the Youth Employment Change Network. Prior to her time at DCAYA, Amy worked with a women’s workforce advocacy organization in DC.

Amy earned her M.P.A. in Management for Social Impact from the George Washington University and B.A. in International Relations from Simmons College. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University, and she is a graduate of the Washington Semester’s International Law and Organizations program at American University. Amy is excited to advance collaborative efforts to ensure the District’s youth are connected to opportunities across the cradle-to-career continuum.
